The challenge

A fast-growing retail franchise was managing stock across dozens of stores by spreadsheet and instinct. Best-sellers ran out while slow lines gathered dust, and every store manager had their own way of guessing.

Their POS held the sales data and their suppliers held the lead times, but nothing connected the two. Replenishment was reactive, manual, and different in every store.

Our approach

We built a replenishment tool that pulled live sales from the POS and lead times from supplier feeds, then turned them into clear, store-level order suggestions managers could trust.

Rather than replace anyone's judgement, we gave them a head start: a suggested order they could adjust in minutes instead of building from scratch. Head office got visibility across every site for the first time.

The outcome

Stockouts on key lines fell by more than a fifth, and managers got hours of their week back. Head office could finally see and act on stock across the whole network.

The tool has become the backbone of how the franchise plans its buying.
